Toronto Fashion Week: Kollar SS16

On Friday, October 23rd, Kollar debuted their spring and summer collection to the city. I sat front row, snapping neutral colours, Canadian tuxedos, and an ever so popular lineup up of long haired men. The show was held in a studio, thus creating an intimate atmosphere, amongst the crowd and the buildup of photographers. Everyone feeling pleased and privileged to capture the brand that has taken over the menswear industry by storm.

Each man possessed a certain swagger, with a deliberately unique walk. Their method of walking told a story all on its own; It felt as though a piece of them unravelled on the runway. When I reflect on this show, as I type from the comfort of my bed, the word that comes to mind is Integrity.

Define Integrity you might say. Google identifies Integrity as,

" the state of being whole and undivided. "

And I think that sums it up pretty well. Although each model was easily identifiable as an individual, together as a unit they were whole and undivided, which created an impact on the crowd, and more specifically myself.

It just reconfirms what we knew all along,

were more alike than we are unalike.
