Having the Courage to Start All Over Again + Experience Adventure

Having the courage to start all over again.

To leave your baggage behind,

confront your insecurities

And ultimately rediscover.

Not easy.

But possible.

It requires you to sort through the past that you have backpacked, and carried around for years.

Opposite to retreat, you must confront all of the insecurities you have already pencilled into the future.

The hardest part, is sorting through the baggage.

Its messy.

You've kept a lot of stuff in that backpack of yours.

Half of it is good memories. The other half is dead weight; that prevents you from living right now.

This dead weight, anchors you in the past.

Forcing you to replay derogatory words once spoken to you, and hurtful experiences, once experienced.

Confrontation of insecurity, is the second hardest part.

It requires you to know yourself.

If done properly - you will learn to become vulnerable.

If done right, you will learn that vulnerability is power.

You will learn how to reorganize yourself, when your soul becomes messy.

You will learn to ease your heart, when your heart becomes heavy.

You'll be wiser.

You will experience more, because its not that you have become immune to pain, it's just that you're no longer afraid of hurting.

You will develop risk taking behaviours that will leave you with a natural high of adventure, and re-discovery.

You will become fearless.

Which is not the absence of fear; but the knowledge and wisdom to go forth anyway.
