The Perfect Trench

As someone who is new to the corporate working world, I feel as though my wardrobe has undergone some serious development.

I’ve started trading crop tops and mini skirts for pieces that are more tailored to my lifestyle.

While my place of work has an ultra casual dress-code, I figured I might as-well take the plunge and invest in pieces that convey professionalism.

Much like a blazer, a well fitted trench (coat) has the ability to bring sophistication to the simplest outfits.

Even more, the practicality is a great bonus.

My tips for finding the perfect trench are plain and simple: focus on the fit.

Ensure the sleeves are an appropriate length and try it on with a thick knit.

Since spring can be much like winter, it’s convenient if you can button it up with the added bulk of a wool sweater. (I live in Canada.. lol)
